Q² Primer is an ultra-light finish and SiO₂ coating primer. It provides superb pre-coating surface preparation and an incredibly glossy finish.
Q² Primer is designed to be used before applying a coating to paint. This coating primer will ensure a long term bond and has laid down a base layer of SiO2 for the main coating to bond to. It will make the coating application smooth and easy.
If you give 24 hours between the coating primer application and your coating application, you do not need to prep wipe the surface. The main coating will bond perfectly to Primer, and you can avoid any surface marring on soft paints during the prep process.
Q² Primer is so much more than just a light, finishing polish. Its unique SiO2 infused formula prepares the paint before coating application, making product transfer smooth and easy. It doesn’t require an additional washing step after use, only time or Q²M Prep wipe.
TIP: work with minimum revs and medium pressure on an eccentric machine. I recommend the use of our Q²M Eccentric Finish pad to use with Q² Primer. Always inspect the panel once completed.
